The Worn Out Mom

So I know that the “tired mom” thing has been done over, and over, and over, and over again… That being said, I still feel the need to get all of this out! My poor sister has to be tired of hearing about my kids and the excitement (or drama depending on your perceptionJ.) of our lives. And based on the numbers of other Mom’s out there who are blogging about being tired, obviously we as mom’s are tired, exhausted, drained and feel pulled in every direction possible! Don’t even get me started on making time for my husband and romance!

Possibly this could be different. I am sure you will hear my rants, frustrations, joys, and exciting moments of life, but I hope to offer some insight into the mom/wife dilemma that we find ourselves.
I have an amazing husband (Reed) and three beautiful children (Anthony 11, Isabella 4 and Lily 15 months). I am a domestic engineer (a term that I think very well defines what I do each day) which means I have to find the best possible way for our home to run well and efficiently. That is my job from the moment I go to sleep each night till… well the moment I go to sleep the next night! Eight hours of sleep? No way! This job continues 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Breaks are few and far between and I am so grateful for them! But I am more grateful for the opportunity that I have to help these amazing kids become the amazing adults they are meant to be!
